Sara believes that the steady work we do during our physical yoga practice fundamentally impacts how we live when we are off of our mats. We work hard to build strength, flexibility, stamina, steadiness and self-awareness in our daily practice. We strive to break old patterns, becoming unstuck and then creating new, more thoughtful ones. Practicing with consistency and dedication, these things begin to spill over into our everyday lives. We become more patient, resilient, adaptive, open, and compassionate with ourselves and with others. We become more aware of how the mindfulness we cultivate in yoga enhances our ability to live more mindfully and joyfully in general.
Sara teaches studio and corporate classes, as well as private lessons. While her main focus is in an alignment-focused, adaptive, mindful Vinyasa Flow style of class, her experience widely varies – from Vinyasa to Restorative, from Beginner to Gentle, from kids in school-based classes to adults in corporate and community settings. Her students range from first time beginner yogis to practitioners who have been on their mat for years.
A committed student herself, Sara continues to develop and grow. While continuously evolving in her own yoga practice, she aims to bring what she learns directly to her teaching – always open to finding the very best ways to serve others as they move along their own yoga path.
